PROOF OF PROFICIENCY

Anyone who is permitted to apply for an Authorization to Carry (ATC) for employment purposes is required to obtain a proof of proficiency letter. We can provide this letter after we have made arrangements to meet at a firing range and seen that you can safely handle the firearm that you will be carrying. You must be able to provide the firearm and ammunition. Cost for this is $60 and includes range fees. 

 

 

 

FIREARMS VERIFICATION

A firearm needs to be verified before it can be registered when:

 

• it is imported into Canada
• it is newly manufactured
• it is transferred to a new owner
• or the classification changes due to a modification

If you need to have a firearm verified, please contact us. There is no fee to have a firearm verified.

 

 

 

FIREARMS REMOVAL

Firearms can be dangerous around unqualified persons. It is against the law to possess firearms without a valid firearms license. If you do not wish to become licensed and you have recently aquired firearms because of an inheretance or other means, then those firearms should be removed from the home. Even if you are licensed and simply want to dispose of your firearms, they too should be removed safely. We can take care of all the paperwork and arrange to remove your firearms at no cost. We can also assist with the sale of any firearms that are part of an estate.
