aCanadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC & CRFSC)
Anyone who has in their possession, or wishes to purchase, a rifle or handgun – whether it be for target practice, shooting sports/competitions, hunting, employment, or any other reason – needs to have a firearms license or PAL (Possession and Acquisition License). This is the course needed to get your license. Most training companies teach the CFSC and CRFSC as two seperate courses, but Firearms Safety Training has taken the unique step of combining the two into one course that takes half the time to complete and at a lower cost than what most other companies charge. Course covers:
-evolution of firearms
-how to operate, load & unload different types of rifles, shotguns and handguns
-different types of ammunition and how to identify them
-different carrying and firing positions
-range use
-outdoor use
-care of firearms
-safe transportation and storage of firearms
-plus much more!
Cost-$150 (combined CFSC & CRFSC - includes exams)
Challenges and private courses also available.
